I’m really passionate about positive psychology, the science of happiness and mindfulness. I’ve been able to apply the tools to myself helping me be my best self and I’m on a personal mission to share the tools and techniques with the world! A lot of the time we focus on whats gone wrong so we can ‘fix it’ but positive psychology is totally about turning this on its head helping you be at your best and perform at your best building on what works for you already. Mindfulness helps you to focus on the present moment in a non-judgemental way, helping you further be at your best and decreasing stress and anxiety.
In particular the research on strengths is ground-breaking and is a great starting point for happiness, finding out my strengths and being able to use them has transformed my life for the better and using mindfulness techniques has decreased my stress and anxiety. This has made a huge difference to what I am able to do every day in work and home life. I’ve also been able to apply positive psychology to leadership development as well as business and personal coaching making a huge difference in personal and professional lives. A study I carried out in 2016 on the 21 days of happiness (see products) showed a 15.3% increase in Wellbeing for the group and I continue to practice and be passionate about these activities as part of the programme both myself and in my recommendation to clients.
